The cooling system should be completely flushed and refilled about every 24 months. The level, condition, and concentration of coolant should be checked. (A 50/50 mix of anti-freeze and water is usually recommended.)

Never remove the radiator cap until the engine has thoroughly cooled. The tightness and condition of drive belts, clamps and hoses should be checked by a pro.

Change your oil and oil filter as specified in your manual, or more often (every 3,000 miles) if you make frequent short jaunts, extended trips with lots of luggage or tow a trailer.

Inspections and Emissions, near Garner, NC

Chris and his team were polite and prompt. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Chris the moment I entered their customer service office. I came in for an NC State Inspection. I waited for them to complete the safety inspection. The waiting room was clean and welcoming. I watched as they thoroughly walked-thru the required items on the list. While waiting, I inquired about other services in the future, such as A/C repair and other general maintenance. Chris provided clear details on my next steps and the 2 ASE Certified Mechanics on staff. In addition, I plan to visit Garner Auto Specialists again in the near future.
