The cooling system should be completely flushed and refilled about every 24 months. The level, condition, and concentration of coolant should be checked. (A 50/50 mix of anti-freeze and water is usually recommended.)

Never remove the radiator cap until the engine has thoroughly cooled. The tightness and condition of drive belts, clamps and hoses should be checked by a pro.

Change your oil and oil filter as specified in your manual, or more often (every 3,000 miles) if you make frequent short jaunts, extended trips with lots of luggage or tow a trailer.

Chris and his team are great! Like many people, I have trust issues with mechanics because of experiences with dishonest ones in the past. My preferred mechanic is in north Raleigh, which is not convenient when I live in Clayton so finding a reputable one was important. Chris was able to get me in within the hour on a Friday to look at my driver-side front window that had failed. He also was very communicative about the whole issue and was able to accommodate my schedule. I feel like I can actually trust them with my car, and I really appreciate that!

Quick Lube Services

This is one of my favorite places to take my car. I have taken it a while back for an inspection and decided to get my oil change here and employees are professional they are quick and they even fixed my tire pressure error without me asking. They are a great auto shop to go to!
